Da Nang: A City of Style and Art

Da Nang City is not only an important economic and tourist center of the Central region Vietnam, but also known as a “livable city” with impressive architectural works, showing a modern vision and a unique blend of the past and the future. One of the most prominent architectural symbols of the city is the Dragon Bridge – a unique construction spanning the Han River, in the style of a Ly Dynasty dragon flying towards the East Sea, symbolizing the strong development and international reach of Da Nang. Every weekend evening, this bridge also breathes fire and water, creating a lively and enchanting light show, attracting thousands of visitors.

Not far from there is the Han River Swing Bridge, the first bridge in Vietnam, demonstrating the talent and creativity of the domestic engineering team. This bridge is not only an important traffic point but also carries a valuable symbol, associated with the memories of Da Nang people from the early days of the city’s transformation.

Another architectural work that cannot be ignored is the Golden Bridge on top of Ba Na Hills. With a unique design consisting of a golden silk strip supported by a pair of hands to accelerate amidst majestic nature, this work has not only caused a fever on social networks but has also been widely praised by international information as one of the most impressive bridges in the world. The sky and clouds blend with the architecture as if coming out of a dream, making visitors feel like they are lost in a fairyland dream.

In addition, Da Nang is also famous for the blend of ancient and modern architectural styles. The Chicken Church (the main Da Nang tower) with its European Gothic style, soaring bell tower and solid stained glass windows is a clear demonstration of the influence of French colonial Western architecture. Meanwhile, coastal resorts such as InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort have a strong Asian character, with curved tiled roofs, black-painted wooden pillars and open spaces close to nature, reflecting the spirit of harmony between people and landscape.
